"You play as a fairy who lost her wings in a rigged game of poker as she gets her revenge. In total there's 3 levels where you platform a large world. I made this over the half term holidays for the Godot game jam on itch and I was planning on adding a bit more stuff but I've been working on this every day for the past week and I've lost the motivation and time to do so. This is also the first game I've made in Godot 4."

I had a bigger idea for this: an intro showcasing her losing, more levels, hell even the guy she was playing poker againsed was designed and I gave him a name, but I didn't have enough time in the jam to program the boss fight. I still like this idea though so maybe I'll release it on Steam in the future as a fully complete thing where her jump animation actually works. This was the first time I programmed a platformer in Godot so it's pretty rough in places.

The theme to the jam was "Size Matters" and I came up with the concept in the car in an ALDI car park. Here's my notes that I made on my phone as I came up with the idea while waiting for my dad to come back with the shopping:

"- half platformer, half visual novel
"- person that can go into different levels of small
"- little person that screws over random people
"- maybe they're an assassin?
"- oh my god
"- final boss is just another small person
"- fairy with broken wings
"- final boss is the person who broke their wings
"- killing off nemesis' friends in earlier levels

"Finalised idea:
"- 3 levels: kitchen, office, party
"- then final boss
"- visual novel stuff in-between platformer stuff
"- 2D noodle chibi
"- screw over enemy at the end of each level
"- what if they're wings were broken because they lost a bet?
"- cool
"- carries an item from the room to fuck up whoever is the target (not kill)
"- kill enemy at the end with a comically oversized knife"
