The 4 dokis find themselves transported to a lesbian harem fan game after the events of the original where their files are stuck in their glitched forms and Monika can't do anything really due to the different engine so she works together with the MC stand in native to this game, Emari, to keep the other girls somewhat sane while she figures out how to reverse the damage and learn the true nature of this game. The problem is that Emari seems to have a strange definition of co-operation and the choice of wanting to help the girls or watch it all burn is all up to you.
